Like Ára, Frya hitched a lift into the UK in utero – her mother, Hrefna, was imported by Charlotte who discovered that there was a mini-Href along for the ride. Freya was duly delivered at Purlpitt in 2004 and came to stay with us in 2007.
She was started in late 2008 and ridden on through 2009 – she has proved to be a lateral horse with lots of tölt which is compensated for by a marked lack of trot (Oh! What a cross to bear!)
